Jasper Soloff is a New York City based photographer and director known for his bold, movement driven imagery and vibrant visual storytelling. Working across fashion, beauty, music, and documentary, his work explores identity, self expression, and contemporary culture through a cinematic, emotionally driven lens.

Originally trained as a classical ballet dancer, Soloff brings a strong sense of movement and performance to his visual language. He later transitioned to photography, studying photography at Sarah Lawrence College before continuing his education in color film photography at Central Saint Martins in London. His distinctive aesthetic has been featured in leading publications including Vogue, GQ, Paper Magazine, Dazed, i-D, Nylon, Billboard, Out, and Gay Times. In 2018, he was named VFILES Photographer of the Year. In 2023, Soloff became the face of Canon’s EOS R8 launch campaign, with his work and story featured in the company’s global advertising campaign.

Throughout his career, Soloff has collaborated with some of the world’s most recognizable artists and cultural figures, including Billie Eilish, Gigi Hadid, Dove Cameron, Emma Chamberlain, Billy Porter, Pamela Anderson, Tate McRae, Kim Petras, and Pete Davidson. His commercial work includes global campaigns for Maybelline, Fenty Beauty, Amazon Fashion, Olay, Dropbox, Smashbox, and Forever 21. His direction of Maybelline’s “Press Play” campaign starring Gigi Hadid became the brand’s highest performing campaign of 2022 and was featured prominently in Times Square as well as in markets worldwide.

In 2026, Soloff photographed Paper Magazine‘s annual Pride cover, one of the publication’s largest editorial productions, bringing together ten LGBTQ+ cultural icons, including John Waters, in a landmark celebration of queer creativity and legacy.

Alongside his commercial and editorial practice, Soloff is expanding into documentary filmmaking, creating character driven films that center underrepresented voices and stories with empathy, intimacy, and cinematic craft.
